Ok so got a 01 325i and ive got a odd clunking not like ive seen in other posts.
Running or not if i move my shifter mostly 1 2 or 3 gear i get a clunk in the rear, i know its not the subframe. I do have a ujoint with a hair of play and a **** guibo BUT why would i hear a clunk unloaded engine on or off coming from the rear diff? Its like the shift movement noise is being transfered from tranny to the rear end. Ideas?
