TPMS Retrofit - Any success??

Greetings:
My wife's 04 325Ci Convertible with all of 60,000 miles on it is running really nicely. We went for the Dynavin and couldn't be happier with the GPS, the rear camera, the Bluetooth, and look and feel is as stock as it could be.

However, we remain with one missing feature, not necessarily tied to the Dynavin, but maybe someone with more experience can add some advice.

We first tried a version where the valve caps were replaced with a cap assigned to each wheel (LF, RF, LR, RR), and a compact display plugged into the 12V lighter perfectly. From the very beginning it was failing. It was reading some tires and not others, and then one went completely blank. Amazon sent me a complete new kit but much like the first one, it's value proved short lived. They tried sending me a new cap, and eventually I got my money back from Amazon.

Now that things have simmered down, I was hoping someone else has cracked the code on using one of the dozen or so available on ebay and Amazon and with any success. I'm think that the cap pressure based units are crap, and I'll willing to have the tires dismounted and the appropriate sensor installed in each wheel, but I've yet to find a display that will reliably tell me each wheels tire pressure.

Thank you in advance,

Ed in NJ
