New to the forum

Hello all. I'm a former E46 owner (2002 325i coupe steel grey). I have also owned other bimmers including a 2005 X5 that caused me to swear off BMW for a few years after dealing with numerous issues (some were vehicles failures and others were dealership service failures) for several years. I currently drive an Infiniti (2013 M37s) but am looking for an E46 M3. I decided to start the search recently when I coworker was telling me he was thinking about buying a new M2 as a weekend vehicle. We debated the aesthetics of the M2 at length (I don't like it), which led me to make several statements about the classic looks of the E46's. Eventually, we were on the web looking at what is for sale. One of the first ones we saw was a 2002 steel grey coupe that was exactly like my old 325 except was an M3. While that one was local, low mileage and appears to be in great shape, it has a rebuilt title and didn't have any options (exactly like my old one). I talked myself into the concept of getting one for a weekender but decided that I might as well get exactly what I wanted (or as close as possible). I want to at least get HID, 19" wheels, cold weather and premium packages. Anyway, I look forward to reconnecting with E46's.
