New Stereo Install for a Coupe - How Many Speakers are Recommended?

I recently purchased a ZHP coupe and am looking to re-do the stereo. I don't need it to get crazy loud, but great sound quality is important to me.

My car has the HK system in it, and I'm certainly not looking to replace every speaker with something new. My question is, what do I need or what is recommended as far as number of speakers.

My initial plan was to get a set of 5 1/4" Focal components for the front, and a moderate sub for bass. I'm going to keep the stock head unit, and have a JL 300/4 amp from my last car.

Do I need a second set of speakers/components for the rear? Again, this is a coupe. There's a guy selling a set of Focal 6.5" components locally for an incredible price. Is it worth it to pick them up to pair them with the fronts (which are ironically the same model, just different size). Or is getting rears not needed/unnecessary?

If I got the rears, I'm assuming I'd run them off the 300/4 with the fronts, and would be fine with getting a second amp for the sub.

Really appreciate any input from experts on this.
