I pulled my shifter today and found this friggin thing....
Now, my new shift kit includes the standard end link, not one with this crazy offset connector. I'm left wondering if the factory ran out of the part and made this as a work around to ship some cars at the end. Anyhow, I'm thinking that I'm boned if I try to use my rebuild kit and the 'original' linkage.
For clarity, this is what my new kit came with.
Soooo, I'm thinking of getting an AKG linkage:

Pelican parts says that it will fit the 330XI. Given the bend I think it will.
