Hi all,
I recently replaced the DISA valve on my car which makes a world of difference.
However, I've noticed that when I am travelling at 118km/h on the highway and brake hard (eg decrease speed to 70km/h), the car goes into limp mode.
Moreover, if I perform a 'soft brake' down to the desired speed (the speed decreases by 10km/h, for example), the car does not go into limp mode and functions properly.
I suspect that this may be air related. Could old O2 sensors cause this problem? Or is it associated with some crack in one of the hoses?
(I'll be doing a smoke test shortly and replacing the O2 sensors anyways just because they are old, but was wondering if anyone has experience with something like this?)

Car throws code only when braking hard on highway
