Fuel filter (w/regulator) is something that I have been planning to change, but as of recently wife's 330i has been running too rich. I based that on the fact that short time fuel trim are in negative 10-5 range, and long term fuel trims were -1 and now are almost -3.
Based on few thread I read, fuel filter with regulator could be the cause. Something about too much pressure in fuel rail which results in more fluid flowing through injector in same injection period. If I recall correctly, default injection time is 2ms, so would ecu lower injection time for less fuel to be injected?
Edit: Fuel regulator lines are in perfect condition and connected.

Can too much fuel pressure make car run rich?
