Euro 318i ECU replacement

Long time since my last post on here :/



Basically water has been getting into my ECU and although not breaking it in any way, its still fully functional barring a few pins which broke off whilst cleaning the green crap the water damage left behind.....



Is it possible to swap the ECU for 1 out of another car or does it need to be a brand spanker?



Any help would be much appreciated
