So last year I blew my perfectly fine and clean b25 motor by money shifting on a track day, then I swapped for a b30 motor with little lesser miles than my chassis.
While swapping I did the ofhg, rms, put new clutch. After a month battery died, replaced the battery, then a month or so later my starter died  paid a shop to do it as I already had too much of 'working on my car' and it was almost winter. For next few months my car ran perfectly no leaks no problems what so ever.
Then under regular maintenance I did vanos along with vcg. Replaced the CCV with cold climate one, then for performance I changed my diff to 3.46 from 3.15 and lastly put bb gen3 headers.
This is the point where I thought I have my car in its best condition. Then last weekend I took my car for a track day.. Goes perfectly well with new summer tires performing amazingly well:clap:
The next day I get oil low yellow light, I inspected the spark plugs for engine burning oil, they looked fine, then I inspected my car on the hoist I see oil on the aluminum plate ,also the right side of the bell housing wet with oil.:facepalm::banghead:
It is the RMS I guess, may be my job of putting the RMS during the swap was poor.. :bawling:.. I am kind of giving up on doing the RMS and live with it by topping off the oil regularly and clean the engine bottom as and when possible.
Is it a good idea?
