:thumbup:After one year and various checks at the BMW dealer I've finnaly solved the engine low temp issue. I've replaced the EGR thermsotat (after the main thermostat, my mistake) and the tº is now at 50% after 5Km.
E46 have two thermostats, very reliable main thermostat and less reliable EGR thermostat.
If you have tº issues test first the EGR thermostat (black plastic pipe located on the engine front top and easy to remove). At ambient tº it should be closed (tested by blowing in it). EGR themostat is ~50eur BMW parts.
If it is open then the E46 will not warm up and/or engine tº will fluctuate.
