Hey Guys,
I have a new to me 2002 E46 Touring Sport. This car seems to have all the bits for a HK system. I've pulled the door cards and all the speakers are HK. It has the speaker button next to the DSC. It has 6x9 sub-woofers in the trunk which emit almost zero sound.
The stereo works. Nothing to write home about but it works.
Here is the weird part, there is no amp. I have the amp connectors in the wiring loom in the drivers side trunk panel but no amp. So, I'm wondering did someone just add the speakers and the button or is the amp missing? I'm going to assume that the speakers wouldn't work if the amp was missing.
The car also came with a BMW audiophile CD, if that matters.
