ok so i have a 03' e46 touring w/o hc but does have an amp. picked up a 500w sub with a lil 4 channel 1000w amp and im plugging it into my stock rear amp harness. i followed all the diy posts on the forums/internet. i have power to the amp. so no problem there. but ive spliced into the left rear speaker and i get no sound (speaker turns off as well) then i saw another dyi that said to splice into both the left and right so i did that. (tried it with just the positives and with both + and - and got nothing.) also tired head unit output as i read on yet another post. anyone know the correct wire or wires im supposed to plug in to?????? im getting nothing out of my sup and ive checked the wires going from the sub to the box; box to amp; amp to harness......am i missing something??? maybe something to do with LOC as ive been reading about it or could i really just be getting the wrong wire???
