E46 m3 or e92 335i or e46 330i zhp

Hi, well a little background is that I'm about to be a freshman in college and hoping to transfer to cal poly slo in two years! But I'm looking for a car and can't seem to put one over the other... I'm a locksmith and get payed cash for every job and my boss is my dads close friend so its a pretty steady/flexible job with VERY HIGH pay for my age... I've gotten 240 in only 4 hours once!! So I can obviously handle the car payment gas etc. But my dad will still pay for my insurance and half car payment... my limit is $20,000 and just looking for a car that will be fun to drive nd teach me how to take car of a good car!!... the problem with the M3 is that Idk if the gamble for a maintenance money pit is worth it... the e92 sounds OK... and the 330i is seen all over my city and I don't like having the same car as many... I for sure want a BMW tho... my first car was a 2000 Mitsubishi eclipse gt for about 7 months and am currently driving my dads 2006 e60 530i for the past 6 months... I've been driving since I was 13 and consider myself a knowledgeable driver!! Also first post so feel free to welcome me to the forum as I will be here the rest of my life ^.^... so leave some positive feedback!! Which car?? Why?? Why not??
