E46 no HK, no Nav
I just finished wiring my subwoofer and mono-amp to my car's aftermarket headunit. After doing this, I cannot get sound from my car's speakers, just sound from my subwoofer.
I did the installation of the aftermarket headunit about a month back, everything worked fine. I had sound. Yesterday, I ran the RCA and amp remote on wire to the car's headunit. Soldered the remote wire into the headunit's wire harness and plugged in the RCA to the sub pre-out on the headunit. Today, I did the wiring for power and ground for the mono-amp. After that checked out, I plugged in the RCA coming from the headunit (verified + is going to + and - going to -), connected the subwoofer to the amp (verified + to + and - to -), as well as plugged in the amp remote on wire from the headunit.
Now that I've done all of that, I expected to have everything working properly. However, I only have sound coming from my newly installed subwoofer. Why do I no longer have sound from the front and rear speakers?
