Sorry for the double post guys (and wrong thread). I have hit a dead end trying to research a way to customize a toggle mechanism to turn off the low beam angel eyes when the headlights are on. My goal is to have all four eyes on when the parking lights are on, and for the low beam eyes to turn off when either the low beams and/or high beams are on.
In order for this to work, I realize a third party product must be used (possibly arduino uno w/ a couple of relays?). I do not have any automotive electrical experience but I imagine I would have to tap into the low beam wiring so the uno would be able to detect the voltage change and signal the relay to turn off the eyes. I would rather check with you guys before plunging into unknown territory and ruining something important such as the headlights...
I am looking for anybody who has heard of anything like this being done before and could give me a push in the right direction.
Thank you for reading and all contributions are appreciated.
