Hello All
This time last year (almost to the day) I purchased an amazing Steel Grey 6 speed Manual E46 M3 from a fellow forum member.
He had personally imported the vehicle from the UK 2 years prior and had extensive knowledge of the previous owners.
It has been a dream vehicle for the period of my ownership & is ONLY for sale because last week I purchased an E92 M3.
Id love to keep the both of them however parking limitations that come with living in the city make it near on impossible.
In my 12 months of ownership I have fitted:
Brand new tyres - Kumho Ecsta Le Sport KU39 (5000kms ago)
19 CSL reps (Original wheels are also available as seen in the first pic)
Added black grills
Replaced F&R Brake Discs, Pads, Shocks, Springs & Swaybar bushes
(All less than 1500kms ago)
Serviced her twice (August 2014 & May 2015)
Replaced both the cooling system fans! ($2000.00)
Replaced the drivers door actuator & the battery cover.
Added a genuine E46 M3 Strut brace seen on 2002 onwards M3s
Added an AUX input.
** SubFrame was extensively checked for cracks when the suspension & brakes were installed less than 1500kms ago and there are none present**
Here are some other details of the car:
November 2001 built car
82,000 miles
Full Service History
HPI clear (UK damage register) and can provide all UK info to check if required.
Steel Grey
6 speed Manual
Black Nappa Leather interior with brushed anthracite trim.
Fully specced car including:
TV / SatNav (16:9)
Electric rear blind
Heated Electric memory seats
Harman Kardon stereo upgrade
Electric Sunroof
Updated later spec LED rear lights
Tyre pressure sensors
Leather armrest
6 disc changer
Cup holders and coin holder
Auto Xenon headlights and wipers
Cruise control
Climate control + Air conditioning
Heated rear window
Multi-function leather steering wheel
Auto dimming rear view mirror
Electric front and rear windows
Central locking alarm
Grad tint windscreen
Tracker
All keys are present & the car has only ever been filled with premium unleaded.
The body work is above average. No dents or horrible marks and scuffs. There is some stone chipping to the front bar but no big deal considering it's 13.5 years old.
I still get comments on its immaculate condition DAILY!
Faults with this car:
Rego is due on the 28th of August 2015, currently registered in NSW.
The drivers door seal is in average condition.
It has always been like this and I refused to pay $450 for a new one!
It causes no issue!
The rear parking sensors don't work and never have since I bought it. I am pretty certain its just a loose connector at one of the sensors however I just havent gotten around to fixing it.
The gear knob is showing signs of wear however I have purchased one to replace it that is in VERY good condition; this will be included in the sale.
All in all this is a brilliant M3 that has a very comprehensive history file.
It's an awesome colour and is in immaculate condition for the age.
I am open to offers above 25K, I realise that it is an imported vehicle however it is immaculately kept, has low kms for its age, is a true manual and has a brilliant service history with no expense spared.
I live in Surry Hills, Sydney and I am available most days if anyone is interested in viewing the vehicle.
Shoot me a PM if you want any additional details.
Service book pics to follow.
