Hey guys --
I have a 2000 328ci with 222,000 miles on it. Yesterday when I started it, the car went into limp mode with the DSL, EML and Service Engine lights on. It is really cold out (under 10 degrees F). Turning it off and back on did not clear the issue, but I was able to disconnect the MAF connector for five seconds with the car off, plug it back in, and it came out of limp mode. It seems like this trick only works with the car is warmed out. It eventually goes back into limp mode, and the trip of disconnecting the MAF doesn't always work. Any thoughts?
