i am comparing the m3 axles (drivers side ended up salvagable) to my 325xit axles and the length for the drivers side is the same, meaning i dont have to use m3 axles, if the passenger side is the same length too.
not only would this save me headache and money on parts, it would open up the lsd options for non-m owners.
the traditional way to swap to lsd has been to do the entire rear end and driveshaft.
if i am correct then it would mean only parts required to go lsd would be subframe, diff, driveshaft. that is a lot cheaper endeavor than buying an entire m3 rear.
if you shoot me your email i can send pics for reference
thanks in advance
