We have arranged a group buy (send an email for the details) on the AiM Solo DL to all Spec E46 racers through March 31. Includes metal mounting plate, USB transformer, USB download cable, crappy but pretty quickstart guide. Suction cup mount is an additional $34 and shipping is via USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Box at cost. Other AiM loggers (EVO4/G-Dash combination, MXL2, and MXG) are available as well.
This is easily the most cost effective and full featured data acquisition system available for the E46 platform today. In additional to all the GPS and accelerometer based performance data, the DL can be wired to the vehicle's CAN bus to record all sorts of useful information such as rpm, throttle position, brake on/off, oil temp, water temp, voltage, fuel level, individual wheel speeds, etc. We're working on creating templates to make acquisition and analysis of this information as easy as possible. All loggers will be configured with all known tracks and for SE46, included in delivery.
