Hello. I have a 2003 330xi with 96,000 miles and an oil leak. I add about a quarter of a quart each month or so, it is fairly minor. I can't tell where it's coming from. Does my car have an oil cooler? I see something that looks like a transmission cooler that has oil on it. The leak is definitely oil and not transmission fluid. Oil collects on the under carriage guard. The valve cover does not leak, it's hard to tell where it's coming from.
This is my first Bimmer, I have been changing my own oil and I replaced the expansion tank and DISA valve.... so I am getting more familiar with the car, but I can't seem to figure this oil leak out. Any tips would be welcome, thanks.
