Negative fuel trims...almost solved, now confused

Hello

I had one thread here before about my power loss and negative fuel trims but i decided to make another one with proper info. So..

Car : well mainteaned e46 325 06/2003 M54B25 wagon, steptronic. Replaced almost everything since i own the car (4+ years).

1. I discovered that my car lost power. It wasnt drastical because degradation was slow and in longer period but one day i measured 0-60 and it was like...eh 10,5s ? RPMs were climbing to redline a bit slow, loss of torque etc. So i started with inpa and tried to locate the problem. I had 0 errors stored in DME so i checked live data and ouch...both banks had -8 / -8 fuel trims. I didnt know what fuel trims means but i was sure that -8% is something wrong.

2. Month later after reading forums, fuel trim threads, PDFs etc (im busy + self employed so i dont have much of free time) i started with basic things : vacuum leaks, smoke test, spark plugs, coils bla bla. Everything was ok but my engine started to vibrate when i was in gear (D or R - automatic). I was able to feel it thru cabin. It was some kind of drone sound like subwoofer, whole chassis was slightly vibrating. Even steering wheel...

3. After few weeks of "i dont know where is the problem" stage, my bank1 catalyc converter started to rattle. I was very happy and i though that this will solve my problem. I was also bit sceptical because i had same problem on both banks.

4. Replaced OEM headers with Schmiedmann headers. Noticable power gain but my adaptations went from -8 / -8 to -6 / -6. Well..not big deal but still better than -8/-8.

5. Flashed car to EU2 tune, adaptations still in -6 range.

6. Few weeks later, i found Exhaust CPS error in DME so i replaced it with OEM. Adaptations still -6/-6

7. Ordered 2 new o2 sensors. After installation i reset adaptations and did 150km trip (mixed highway, city). :craig:

Adaptations bank1 0.0% / bank2 1,2%. Noticable power gain and i measured 0-60 again. It was like 8,1s - bingo!

Few days later i started to feel that my car is loosing bit of power again so i checked adaptations and im back where i was...not at all but now im fighting with bank1 -1,5% / bank2 +3,71%

Seriosly, im out of ideas...DME is taking fuel out for bank1 and adding for bank2 ? Its bit drastical change to go from -8 to +4 on bank2 imho. I know that o2 sensors were bad but probably i just discovered another problem. MAF ? Car is still slightly vibrating but not that much like before, and its always on idle in gear (tranny is ok).

jfojj HELP :pimpin:
