Quick question about the dipstick o-ring,
I just did a ccv swap and all 4 hoses, none of which are leaking, however when I came to do the dipstick o-ring the old one had solidified and stuck to the dipstick tube so I thought it was part of the dipstick tube and put the new o-ring under it and tried to push in the dipstick (quite hard) only to finally pull it out and figure out there was another o-ring. So I removed the old solidified o-ring and reinstalled the dipstick tube with only the new o-ring and it clicked right into place.
Now I have an oil leak which looks like it's from the dipstick, could it be that I ruined the new dipstick o-ring by trying to force it in when there was another o-ring there?
