My son is OK with recovering the pillars with a matte black vinyl. My concern is preping the pillars. They still have the cloth backing stuck to them after the foam cloth peeled off. Should I sand until fuzzy and put a coat of adhesive on and let dry. Kind of Like a primer coat. Then later spray both material back and pillar and apply? I'm a little afraid of using any liquid strippers. :hmm: Any how, I would like to only have to do this once and move on to something much more interesting.:drool:
