Hey all.
Welp. I hit a patch of black ice, and smashed into a street sign. Knocked out my front fender - broke the fog light.. etc.. and when they put the car onto the flatbed they snapped the tire off the axel ...
Anyhow, long story short - I don't have collision insurance. The car was in great condition, I kept it in the garage most of the time. Only 86000 miles on it.
I'm sure the parts are worth more than the few hundred bux the salvage yard wants to give me for it.
But I'm also sure the parts to fix it are going to end up costing me big bucks...
So what do I do? How can I make the most of a horrible situation? I don't really want to try and part it out myself, as I don't really have the time/space/tools etc for that......
