Mine is 2002 BMW 325XI.
When it runs with high speed, the noise is significant. Kind of vibration. Seems from the engine or under the engine.
When I was driving, I shifted to N suddenly, the noise still there, no decrease, only decrease when speed is slowing down. The higher speed goes, the louder noise comes.
When I made a right turn, the noise seemed gone. When I turned the steering wheel back to the straight or left, the noise came back.
3 months ago, I replaced the center support bearing and the front and rare drive shaft. Just because I heard the vibration under my car when I accelerated. The mechanic said my center support bearing was bad and they was not able to only replace the bearing but the bearing, front and rare drive shaft together. I purchased a used BMW drive shaft but found the center support bearing was bad too, so I purchase a new BMW genuine center support bearing. They replaced all of them including the guibo and I saw my center support bearing did wear out. That's all I did on my car. However, the noise seems from the front, not from the middle.
Anyone has the same experience? Thank you so much.
