M54 Giveaway!

Yes I am actually going to give away an M54 that still works fine with no codes being thrown including the DME! So just read through and learn a bit about it!l

**********PLEASE READ ALL THE WAY THROUGH!!!***********

Hey everyone! I am currently fundraising money to purchase a re-mf'd S54 and other swap components, and I have set up a GoFundMe to raise some of the money!

I know this sounds really dumb, but I will be donating my old M54 to someone in need of it, it is an M54B25 and its in great shape, the only thing that might need a bit of work is one of the pulleys, and that can be done once the motor is removed for the swap. However keep in mind, I can't do any of this if I don't raise enough funds for the S54!

To figure out who will get the M54 I need your help to spread the word around to help find people that need a new engine for their E46, and their story for why they need a new one! I'll have them PM me why they should get the motor, or why someone they know should get it, and I will make a decision 2 weeks after we reach the goal for the S54.

This M54 has been very well taken care of, run on premium it's entire life, used only with BMW synthetic 5W-30, and comes from an 04/2005 325Ci with 114,000 miles at the moment! (From a car with a manual transmission, however the tranny will NOT be included) According to service records, car received a new DME a few years back to replace a faulty one, and at that time, cylinder leakage was tested, and measured at 5-6% which is very good.

Nonetheless this motor is in great shape, and I want to find it a new home, along with an S54

After this, I'll start orchestrating other fundraisers to help other members in need of new components to their daily/project cars.

After all, we are a community right?

E46 fanatics gets so much crap for people ricing out their cars, but I think this is an opportunity to help others, and help ourselves! And along the way as some cool stuff to our cars!

Don't feel pressured to give a certain amount, or more than you can give, cause every penny counts, and it all adds up!
