Dension Ice-Link plus

Hey guys ! I have a really old icelink plus installed in my car. The cradle is for the older ipods and I would like to use my iphone for music. So I was wondering if I purchased this aux-in cable that connects to the icelink plus, would I be able to use it as an aux port for my iphone 5?
