I have an E46 330d Touring, 184hp, 306D1, 2002 restyling.
I'm new in this forum. I have a problem with my car and I hope you can help me.
How I say I have the latest 184hp engine in this model.
Well, I have a problem for a year in my car. It don't have power, like the turbo doesn't work.
In the last year I took the car to the Official BMW Mechanic 4 times, and nobody knows what's wrong with my car.
I changed the Turbo and all the pipes, the high pressure pump, the "Hochdruckspeicher Verteilerrohr", the fuel pressure sensor, the gasoil pump under the driver seat, the return valve of gasoil that goes to the tank, the egr, and the original Bosch "LUFTMASSENMESSER". I tried another ECU and the same. Besides I did a reprogramation of the ECU and should have 215hp but anyway seems have 100hp. I'm depressed!!!
I changed all of this in 3 differents bmw official garages and the car runs just as bad.
I don't know what I can do. The car runs very well, very fine, without smoke, but don't have power. Is like the car had 100cv. I don't feel the sensation when the turbo open, is very progressive, like the turbo doesn't run, but I changed 2 turbos and the sensation is the same.
The car spent over 10 liters when it should be around 6, not at me, it was slow acceleration (one vw polo 90cv is faster than me), The car takes a lot to go 180-190km/h and in flat not run more, the maximum speed is this when it must run at 230-240.
The engine block is perfect, there aren't oil losses.
I think that could be an electronic problem, but anybody knows and find nothing.
I don't know what can I do. The car is in very good conditions and only has 160.000km
Anyone has encountered the same problem?
