I have been experiencing problems with my 330ci E4 for the last few months, it has been back and forth with mechanics but the idiots only make things worse.
My car was struggling to get up hills so the mechanics changed all the coils but after collecting and on my way home the same problem occurred so I went back the following day. After taking a mechanic for a drive with me he said "oh if we had taken it for a drive we would have known straight away it was the the tail shaft", so another $1,000 or so the track and no car for several days the car ended up costing me $2,500. BUT....my car is still idles out of time every so often but when I turn off the car and re start it all seems fine but every so often it just shuts completely down without any warning lights and the NRMA workshop do not know how to fix it.
Can anyone please give me some idea what it may be?
Since my mechanics have been looking at the car every time it comes back something else does not work, they say it has to go to an auto electrician to look under the steering column because the water will not spray on my windows or headlights. Personally I believe they fiddled with it and stuffed it.
Much help needed with any ideas.
