Hi guys first post so be nice. Hopefully someone will be able to point me in the right direction to fix my 2001 325.
I have had the car approx 6 years and has been a total dream. Mileage was 54,000 when i brought it and the issuses started at about 95,000 - 6 months ago. During this time it has not been driven much as i also have a van for work.
The first problem occured during winter and was a rough idle on startup. After driving for a couple of mins it would be fine and idle good.
It then progressed to having to wait for a few mins after starting to be able to drive it. If it was driven before then it would bog down, misfire and very rough idle. This would not be the case every time the car was started. One thing that was consistent was that if the car was running ok and i left it for approx 2-3 mins idling it would then start misfiring badly and become undrivable. When this started I started doing some reseach on the web to cure my problems.
To cut along story short i will list the things i have done myself to the car:
Vanos seals sorted
ICV cleaned
Throtle body cleaned
Disa seal renewed
CCV replaced + all hoses
Crankshaft sensor
Full service
All air hoses checked and leak tested
None of the above made any real difference to the problem. I was not to bothered about spending out on doing these as in my research i knew these needed doing at the mileage of the car as preventative maintance.
Other work which should not be related to my problem but will post for a full picture of what i have done
Lower arms
Anti roll bar links
Rebuilt cooling system including new rad, new hoses, new thermostat etc
All that was done one bit at a time and car was then tested for a week, No difference at any time. One day when i was out tinkering and removed the air box after reinstalling i forgot to plug the MAF connector back in and the car ran like a dream. I assumed this was a false positive due the fact that the car must run on default setting with no MAF and would be covering the real issuse.
So last week i purchased a new MAF and installed it and the car is now idling better then it was and i car now start the car and drive straight away with no issuses. I cleared the fault codes i was geting and ran the car for a week. After approx 300 miles dash light came back on ! Car seems to drive well but every now and again i think its misfired for a second.
Im still getting the same fault codes as i have all along and have posted what im getting below.
This is now where im up to and would like some input into what i do next !
Many thanks in advance for any help recieved.
Error Codes:

These are in the shadow memory:

And these are live data from the car running ok (before misfiring) on idle:

I then cleared the codes and the car was run for approx 2 mins then checked codes again and got these 2:

I have tried to be as detailed as i can but if any more info is need i will help as much as i can. As you can see i am able to carry out most repairs myself and would like to see this problem through myself after the time i have spent rather then going to a dealer/garage.
Thanks again guys
