New battery and alternator from advance car stalls

Hey guys, so I got a new starter, battery and a reman alt from advance. All not even a few months ago. Today I'm driving and the brakes and abs lights come on and the gear light and car goes into limp mode and then dies. No power. So before I tackle this, I think it's the crappy voltage regulator from the non OEM alt. Should I change the voltage regulator? Or get a new alt which is under warranty.

Please help! I have one day before my job starts again!
