Interior panels faded to heck

I have a 2003 330ci which I love. It is not always reciprocated, but that is beside the point.

The interior is "Hellbeige", which is neither a great color or great name, and has faded poorly, especially in the sun-exposed areas like the top cover.

I would like to keep the beige leather seats and door panel inserts, but just go black for the cover, side covers, door panels, and center console. If I buy new parts, that is around $3,000. I have tried to buy used, but Asmod3us is 3,500 miles away from me. And in any case I want it to look excellent.

Do auto shops refurbish panels? Can they repaint vinyl? I have read about 10 threads about vinyl paint, but I am really afraid it will look cheesy. I presume the panels were originally painted at the factory, so perhaps I am being neurotic.

Has anyone had their interior panels repainted by a shop? Was is factory-new looking? Did it last?

Thanks
