Drove dads e46 325ci automatic today

Noticed that when the car is rolling at about 20 kms and hour and I flat stick it, there's a 2-3 second delay before it launches off?

Is that normal because it's auto or is could 1 on the cylinders be blocked ?

Opinions please ?
