Hello everyone,
While I was cleaning my ICV this past weekend I noticed my DISA valve was loose. I believe the flap is supposed to have like a springy effect where if you push the flap it returns back to its orgin? Correct me if I am wrong. Does that mean I would need to get a new DISA unit? My car is a 2002 330i by the way with 107k miles. Also, there was some sludge like build up on the flap and on the base. Is this normal?
Lastly, I am a bit worried about the pin that's behind the flap that everyone is talking about. I did not see one :yikes:! I'm worried if the pin has been lost inside the intake chamber. Can someone post a pic of what the pin looks like?
