My car has developed an intermittent fault whereby it will be running OK from cold and then once its warmed up for 15mins or so it sometimes starts struggling, if i apply revs it keeps it going a little bit but ultimately it will conk out. Car restarts straight away but usually the symptoms remain. It happened to me just as I was turning into my road last night so thankfully I managed to nurse it home. I ran in and grabbed my laptop and checked INPA, I had my usual 4 glow plug error codes (working on that, relay arrived yesterday) and also code 4560 - Rail pressure plausibility delivery control
After about 5 minutes of trying to watch live data and various restarts the car picked up again. I cleared the codes and only the glow plug regulars returned...
Over the last couple of weeks the car has had another intermittent fault where there is hesitation through the rev range, felt like a misfire. This would again only develop when the car was warm, not when cold or fully up to temp.
I don't think it matters but I think the main stat is goosed, as I was watching temps yesterday and it never went past 62 after a 10min motorway run. When I had it outside the house playing up it was only at 71 max. I have a stat on order but don't think its related.
So I don't really know where to start! I've read about pre supply pump and relays, are they likely suspects here?
Any tips?
Cheers
Joe
