HELP! 323i Key Fob Issues? Or Ignition issues??

First off this is my first post on here! I look at posts a lot and often! But since I have got BMW. I have had this issue where the key fob was not working when I bought the car. Which got very annoying having to walk up to my car every single time and unlock it manually, and not remotely. One of my friends insisted that it was the battery that was dead! So I replaced the battery and magically nothing happened... Then a couple weeks ago I had been doing some research about it and I was told by my dad it was the key fob itself! So I took it to the dealer got the new key. Then! While I was at the dealer they were trying to program the key to the car, and they were having serious issues. We waiting 30 min. They could not find out why the key could not be programmed. They told me it was the central locking system issue... When i know for a fact it is not. I can unlock the car perfectly from the inside and lock it. I can unlock it perfectly manuelly with the key inside the door. No issue. But when unlocking with the key fob... That's the issue.



I have seen a forum where someone had the same issue.

The car beeps when I put it in the ignition and when I take the key out it still beeps? Thinking the route to my issue is the *Key Sense Switch* inside the ignition.



Any one having the same issue??? Or know what I should do??? :thanks:
