I have a 2004 330 CI auto, convertible, when you first start the car you must let it warm up for 5 to 10 minutes no matter what the temperature is outside, or if you don't you can press on the gas and the engine will rev way up & the car will barely move, also if not warmed up when first taking off ( sometimes)it kind of does this puttering thing as if you are pressing and releasing the gas very quickly. It seems like putting it in sport mode helps. I have changed the oil/oil filter& fuel pump & filter .
2.another problem I'm having with it is about One out of every six starts The engine will not turn over, you have to turn the key completely off and then do it again, it AlWAYS starts on the second try. it has been suggested that I try changing the coil packs and spark plugs, but it was also suggested that the fuel pump/filter would fix it, it did not.
