Hello,
Looking into buying a torque wrench, and need an opinion/explanation as to what I should buy.
I'm not a mechanic, so I'm not looking for the best tools available. I'm looking for a decently made tool for DIY jobs on the car here and there.
So currently I have a few options:
Kincrome 3/8" drive - 5 ft-lb to 80 ft-lb $85
Kincrome 1/4" drive - 2 ft-ln to 24 ft-lb $85
Warren Brown 3/8" drive - 20 N.m. to 100 N.m. $130
Warren Brown 1/4" drive - 5 N.m. to 25 N.m. $130
My question regarding the 3/8 Kincrome is whether it'll be the most versatile tool of the bunch. I understand that I should get more torque wrenches for the different ranges, but budget restraints dictate that I shouldn't right now.
(tl;dr is the 3/8" kincrome fine for say 21.5 N.m torque etc)
