I'm having an issue with what I think might be the speed limiter but it's sort of strange to me.
Basically I have plenty of power to accelerate to the end of 4th gear at 6500rpm which is about 115mph. As soon as I switch to 5th gear the car bogs and slows down. As soon as I switch back to 4th gear I can accelerate again back up to the top of 5th gear
Is this the speed limiter? It only works in 5th gear?
The car is a 2002 325xi touring with a 330 engine
Speeds in question are occurring on the track, on the back straight of VIR I basically top out 4th gear but there's still room for more speed.
